KNIGHT GUNS

Information and Guide to Knight Muzzleloading Guns

Knight Vision

The Vision muzzleloader was Knight guns most most anticipated gun of 2005. After advertising widely throughout the hunting community and getting an overwhelmingly positive response Knight announced late in the year that the Knight Vision would not be available that year. According to Knight their testing found the receiver was susceptible to rusting around the hinge. There just was not enough time to solve the problem before the 2005 hunting season.

Hats off to Knight for putting quality first, even though it must have been embarrasing to announce a gun and then not deliver it. For 2006 Knight has solved the problem and black powder hunters can look forward to delivery of what is sure to be a hugely popular hunting muzzleloader.

Accuracy and easy cleaning are what black powder hunters appreciate most in a hunting gun. The Knight Vision delivers on both counts! Like all Knight guns the Knight Vision has a Green Mountain barrel with tolerances to 10,000th of an inch. Knight's guarantees their Green Mountain barrels accuracy to 2 1/2 inches for a three shot group at 100 yards. This is remarkable considering many modern centerfire hunting rifles do not shoot that good.

Cleaning the Knight Vision is simple. Just open the guns breech, the breech plug will be exposed and is easily removed with a breech plug tool. (included with the gun) There are no other bolts or mechanisms needing dissasembled. Once removed the barrel is just a hollow tube easily cleaned from either end.

The Knight Vision is availible in all black, black stock with stainless barrel, or all camoflage in your choice of Mossy Oak Breakup or Realtree Hardwoods Green HD.
